“Tales Of The Underdogs” takes you on a journey through Nightmare & Oni's own influences of Electronica, Dub, Drum & Bass, Grime, HipHop, R&B and Ambient.
Beginning with the warming Mediterranean strings of “Vantage Points” following with the deep sub-bass driven, dub inspired “Generation Dub” through to the pounding 808’s and syncopated triplets of “Elemental Technique”.
Collaborations on the album are with Dubnesia and Hertz on the mesmerizing rhythm of “Focus” and the relentless “Powering Up” with team member Poklypz.
Continuing into the sweeping synth-wave funk and rolling textures of “Piper” and culminating in the haunting rumble and vast soundscapes of “Fragmented Souls”.
Nightmare and Oni truly showcase their versatility, many influences and varied diversity throughout this fifteen track LP.
